Why Finance Burger?

Finance Burger is a finance consulting firm with a focus on Bookkeeping and Fractional CFO services for small businesses using QuickBooks Online. Our Bookkeeping and fractional CFO Services help small businesses keep their books clean and see the story in their numbers.

We are seeking a task focused individual to join our team as a remote full-time Bookkeeper. We are looking for someone to help us grow – someone who likes variety in their workday and likes to get things done. This is a remote position, but our new bookkeeper must live in or near Indianapolis as meeting in person will be beneficial at times. Work hours are flexible up to 40 hours per week.

Salary - $17.00/hr to $23.00/hr depending on experience

ASSOCIATE BOOKKEEPER

Highlights

Actively working with small businesses to help organize their finances via QuickBooks.
Use of cloud based software makes work more efficient and reliable.

Responsibilities

Transaction processing, bank reconciliations, and journal entries to produce monthly. financial statements for multiple clients.
Maintain accounts payable and client vendor payments.
Ketchup and clean-up of client QuickBooks files.
Payroll processing, setup, and monitoring of QuickBooks and Gusto client payroll.

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
Understanding of bookkeeping/accounting principles.
Skilled in the use of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Communication and responsibility are important.
Self-driven and likes to stay busy.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize among several tasks each day.
Possess a positive attitude and avoids drama.
Process improvement oriented with a strong work ethic.
